County Commissioner Keith Diediker

District 5 covers the townships of Richland, Stanton, south Paola, east Valley, Osage, Miami, Sugar Creek, and Middle Creek.


Biography

  • Commissioner Keith Diediker was elected in November 2022
  • A lifetime Miami County Resident.
    • Keith and his wife Edie have been married since 1985.
    • Keith and Edie built their new home in 1989 north of Fontana, Kansas.
    • Keith operates a small cattle operation with his father and brother.
  • Keith was hired by the Miami County Road & Bridge in 1986
    • Bridge Crew for 15 years
    • Road Crew for 2 years
    • Vegetation Management Crew for 16 years
    • Retired in 2019
    • Worked 2020 - 2022 part-time as a summer mower man
  • Keith has been involved in many various community activities, including:
    • Osawatomie Elks Lodge #921
    • Osawatomie Masonic Lodge, Treasurer for the past 24 years
    • Osage Cemetary District
    • Osage Township Board Trustee
    • Lifetime NRA member
